Die
"Progressive Rock Hour" bei OL1
Vielschichtige komplexe Musik, verschnörkelte Arrangements und Soundtüfteleien machen die Musik aus, deren Hauptprotagonisten Bands wie Genesis, Yes oder Marillion sind. Seit 1997 gestalte ich die Sendung - mal mehr, mal weniger - gemeinsam mit Udo Klingsporn (siehe links, und: Ja, ich gestehe, die Fotos sind in der Anfangszeit der "Progressive Rock Hour" entstanden)
In erster Linie geht es um
Neuerscheinungen aus dem Bereich Progressive / Melodic Rock,
Live-Tipps und Infos. Hin und wieder gibt es auch Interviews und
Studiogäste - so hatten wir in den mittlerweile über 500 Sendungen bisher
fast alle
großen Namen im Gespräch
- von den Klassikern wie Genesis oder Yes über etablierte
Größen wie
Marillion, IQ oder Pallas, deutsche Größen wie
Sylvan oder RPWL genauso
wie die derzeitigen Big Player, wie Dream Theater,
Spock´s Beard,
Riverside oder Porcupine Tree.
Wie ihr an den Playlists erkennen könnt: Die "Progressive Rock Hour" macht Sendepause. Aus terminlichen Gründen. Vielleicht geht`s irgendwann wieder los - momentan beschränke ich meine radioaktive Zeit auf die Sendung Blizzard, i.d.R. jeden 3. Freitag im Monat von 18-22 Uhr.
